How to avoid tantrums in young children??

1.Keeping consistent, and having a routine and structure will be huge in keeping your little one free from tantrums.

2.Do the best to keep rules in the positive form "walk please" instead of "no running" for example. And try to keep the consequences as fair and relateable to the offense as possible.

3.Stay consistent with naps and bedtime. A child who is over tired or off of a schedule will likely melt down.

4.Give 2 choices-both ones that you are comfortable with-so that your young child can feel like they have some independence and ability to choose. They like to assert their freedom and this lets them do that in a controlled way.

5.Stay calm and patient as they will feed off of you. If you do not give the behavior any attention they will stop. And you need to set a good example as to how to handle feelings of anger, frustration, etc.

6.Explain why to things as often as you can and in a kind-friendly way. Kids like to be treated with respect and appreciate understanding why.

7.
Reward and praise the behavior you do what so that they will be more inclined to repeat it then drift off to the negative behavior just to get your attention. And of course try to avoid situations where you know things could be an issue.

Valentines Day Special !!

Ways to Boost your Brain Power

  1. Embrace ambiguity. Learn to enjoy things like paradoxes(A statement contrary to received opinion) and optical illusions.
  2. Learn mind mapping(A mind map is a graphical way to represent ideas and concepts. It is a visual thinking tool that helps structuring information, helping you to better analyze, comprehend, synthesize, recall and generate new ideas).
  3. Block one or more senses. Eat blindfolded, wear earplugs, shower with your eyes closed.
  4. Find intersections between seemingly unrelated topics.
  5. Reverse your assumptions.
  6. Learn creativity techniques.
  7. Go beyond the first, ‘right’ answer.
  8. Turn pictures or the desktop wallpaper upside down.
  9. Drink lots of water.
  10. Vary activities. Get a hobby.
  11. Laugh!
  12. Go technology-less.
  13. Be childish!
  14. Learn a foreign language.
  15. Learn a musical instrument.
  16. Study how the brain works.
  17. Deliver more than what’s expected.
  18. Challenge yourself.
  19. Debate! Defend an argument. Try taking the opposite side, too.
